1. Besides the usual online blogs and galleries, from what or where do you draw inspiration?

I draw inspiration from everywhere. Current events, magazines, music, and lots of other things that I interact with and see daily. Inspiration is all around us.

2. Design-related or not, can you list up to 3 books that you've found beneficial to your growth as a designer?

The Elements of Typographic Style, The Smashing Book, Graphically Speaking, and Forget All the Rules About Graphic Design: Including the Ones in This Book.

3. If you could name one tool/application/software/hardware that you can't live without (from a design perspective), what would it be, and why?

Photoshop, because it's what I use best. It's the first graphics software that I learned and I wouldn't be able to do my work without it.

4. What would be your design "dream job"?

I'm already doing my design "dream job." Working for a company and working for myself, as well as blogging. It's great!

5. What changes would you like to see in the design community in the next 5 years?

I would like to see more community involvement in blog discussions.

    Thanks for this interview. Too bad it's not in depth. You could have done better. I am a big fan of DI. He is an awesome dude.

    @zanzu7:

    Every interview on this site consists of the same 5 questions. It's just an easy and simple way to conduct interviews, and I think makes for interesting comparisons to see how different designers answer the same questions.
